Very easy for elderly to use
It is a learning remote control; you must have the original remote control to teach it.
If you have lost your remote control, it will not work.
Can learn for up to 2 devices, for example: Power button and VOL button for TV and CH button for STB.
Instructions come with remote however if you find the setup confusing, here is a short video showing the set-up process.

Instructions are easy to follow but not accurate in practice, it took many repeated attempts to correctly learn a simple Panasonic tv remote control, and no instructions on how to delete a previous incorrect learning setting. one eventually programmed worked as expected
This remote is great. Bought it for my Dad who has dementia and macular degeneration and it was so easy for him to use.
Perfect product to connect to existing dumb Tv or set top box. This item is infared only. It will not connect to SmartVu or Smart Tv as those need bluetooth.
